Bound by Veterans (BBV) (previously known as The Wiltshire Barn Project) supports Wounded, Injured and Sick (WIS) ex-Servicemen and women from all three Services. It uses the restorative powers of manual bookbinding to assist rehabilitation, improve health and well-being and to develop employment skills.

Many of the veterans who come to us, do so through the Rolling Recovery Programme (RRP) run by the Phoenix Centre at Tedworth House which includes a bookbinding session run by BBV. Those who enjoy the sessions there can go on to attend BBV courses in a variety of bookbinding skills at our rural workshop in Woodborough, just outside Pewsey. These courses can last a few days, a week or be taken over several months, and in addition to offering an aid to recovery and rehabilitation, they can contribute towards City & Guilds qualifications which can help with opening up new careers
